C2NC is a brand focused on producing clothing and garments in the most sustainable way possible — namely through up-cycling. The brand’s mission was to create clothing specifically from garments “no one wanted.”
This movement was created as a counter-reaction to the ever-increasing landfills filled with mass-produced waste that was once clothing. While up-cycling has become an over-saturated term today, this project dates back to 2021, when C2NC — short for “Consume to Not Consume” — was first launched.
I joined the project as the graphic designer, creating prints for the first collection under the theme “Awakening.” The six shirts shown below are from that inaugural collection. I also designed the logo, combining the universal recycling symbol with a secret-society triangle and eye to form what became C2NC’s emblem — a symbol of a recycling society.
